  • Description: Two partisans who belong to ELAS are trying to return home after the destruction of their unit by the national army. They are pursued by the gendarmerie, the security forces and the army. In the course of events, we find out about their history from the events surrounding the partisan fighting at Gorgopotamos. During their return, they meet people who are willing to help them, but in the end they are taken prisoners and executed. The wife of one the partisans is not executed because she is pregnant. She is released when the party of George Papandreou comes to power. Her son, who is a university student in the early part of the 1970s, takes part in the events of the Polytechnic.
